No accounts, no cookies, no ad trackers, no ads.

We count visits with PeekLog, our own analytics. It sets no cookies and shares nothing with anyone. It records the page you view, the site that sent you, your browser and your IP address, so we can count visitors and filter out bots.

Your ticks are stored in your own browser and never sent to us.

When you scan a site, our server fetches that site's public pages. It also sends the site's address, never anything about you, to Google (PageSpeed Insights and Safe Browsing), to Bright Data, which runs the Google search, and to rdap.org for the domain's registration dates. Results are kept on our server for up to 12 hours so repeat visits are fast, then deleted.

Our web server logs each request: your IP address, the page address (which includes any site you scanned) and your browser name. The logs are used for security and rate limiting and are deleted within six months. To enforce the daily limit on Google checks, the server also keeps a count per connection, filed under a scrambled form of your IP address and cleared every day.
